The Progress of your Order
Having placed your order, you will receive emails confirming that it was received by us, that we have processed your order, and finally when (and how) your order was dispatched. You can also track the progress of your order(s) from 'My Account' on the website.
Our on-line catalogue marks each item as 'In Stock', 'Available', 'Out of Print', 'Reprinting' or 'In-preparation'. This information is updated from our server every twenty four hours - so it is possible that items marked as 'In Stock' may actually have sold out by the time your order is placed. Conversly, out of stock items may have been received into stock during the working day.
If an out of stock item becomes particularly difficult to obtain, we will keep you informed at intervals via email and keep trying to obtain the item unless you ask us to cancel the back order. If we discover that a title on backorder is 'Reprinting' or has become 'Out of Print' we will let you know. If you do not require a book that has been on backorder for some time, simply let us know and we will cancel the backorder.
Alternatively, you have the option to decline our backorder service (see 'My Account'), in which case; if any items are out of stock when we process your order, the item will be deleted from your order and the accompanying invoice will list items not supplied.
Returns are not accepted unless by specific arrangement. Please ring first! Any queries relating to your delivery must be notified within 14 days of receipt.
If an item in our on-line catalogue is not marked as 'In Stock', the item may have to be placed on 'Back Order' and sent on to you as soon as it is back in stock. There may be an small additional postage charge when the item is sent out to you, but no 'minimum charges' apply then or on your original order (see 'Delivery').
